Carnival of Evolution - call for submissions!
My apologies about the unannounced hiatus. Thankfully I’m scheduled to host a blog carnival, which serves to shake me out of my enjoyment of life in the flesh to come running back to this my corner of the virtual world. Who needs a life, anyway?
So! The Carnival of Evolution is a new blog carnival just getting off the starting blocks and looking very promising. I mean, hey, it’s about my favourite subject ever! How can it not be good? To quote the description:
Do you care about the science behind evolution? Do you marvel at the tiny molecular machines spewing out coded messages to the microscopic inhabitants of your own bodied world? Do you grow irate at the ignorance pushers, the peddlers of relatively impotent gods, and the disintegration of science education in the modern world? Do you like to stay abreast of current topics and scientific findings in the study of the organismal existences surrounding us or those long gone?
If so, this is the blog carnival for you.

The current edition can be found at The Other 95%. The edition I will host on November 15 will be #6 - a good number, I’ve always thought.
Now, please, pelt me with submissions!
Your posts can be specifically related to current science concerning evolution, opinions, or dealing with whatever current anti-evolution attacks you find in the media or world. Really, anything related to evolution, whether direct or tangential, is fair game.
