What’s Up
Because I seem to be suffering from an over-all writer’s block, and to make up for the missing Friday Pics, here is a cavalcade of photos that illustrate what sort of things have been taking up my spare time this spring.
Tiny tiny chickens:

Stockholm and beautiful spring weather:

Mountains of beekeeping supplies needing attention:

Planting of interesting varieties of elderberry and discovering beautiful critters:

The first true democratic assembly of the Swedish Humanist Youth Organisation:

Flowers and bees:

Please don’t give up on me. Next week I’m going to the World Humanist Congress in Washington D.C. That should yield some interesting blog topics and release me from my writer’s block!

I live near Washington DC. It looks like your hotel will be right near the National Mall, where many of the great monuments are located. If so, do take some time for a bit of sightseeing.

I will, if there’s time! I’ve been to DC before, but it’s like ten years ago and I was 13 at the time, so I can only remember looking at squirrels right outside the White House…

Great pics, as usual!
Does your father by any chance smell of elderberries?
Comment by Martin R — May 28, 2008 @ 09:06
Haha Martin I’m afraid not. We haven’t had any elderberries in the garden until now, despite it being ridiculously huge and all…

Hopefully your mother isn’t a hamster either. My grandfather recently trecked his bees from Devon (South of England) to Manchester (North). I was very impressed to learn that as long as you move them far enough away from their old hive site that they don’t recognise the area they take the move quite well.

Glynn, Yeah, you need to move them at least four or five kilometers but preferably a bit more. Bees normally don’t venture further than two kilometers when foraging so if the new site is far away they won’t go back to the old site. If you move them just across the garden however you’ll lose all the foragers as they’ll sit around where the hive used to be and be confused.

Nord pool

I have tried to say that perhaps 80% and not a white, yellow överlevnadsvärld (conclusions and democracy, etc.).
In order to survive (democracy = most choose the truest, most överlevnadsflexibla = solutions that have the breadth and width of the tip but above all - more artistic).
As a matter
Tex replace coal in us (Germanium)
Plants and planter to replace, and make photosynthesis more efficient (only percent today to 25%)
Local democracy
Toquevilles analysis (best social sciences through and in all times)
Local democracy and a sufficient number of wins and voted for
Italy-USA-England one part
Otherwise, we go over (our leaders are capable sas is not this)
Just as Tolkiens world = kind of democracy
Experts (knowledge = implemntera and make on the basis of a policy). See paradigm which today replaced (and the judgement then made some wrong with that thinking).
See, all senior experts (Cambridge) judgement is as firm in thinking, etc. (and believe theories be right). Empirical and darwinism therein (choose above simply so you can manipulate a world - so it is doing and stand up for generations and centuries)
Tex da Vinci world paint a picture and get it designed (like trees) and stimulants that integrate the interface ml of our world and the states (perception).
Technical solutions that are most important
And ordinary people who say the truth = do this for överlevnadsvärdet (democracy)
And we are going into space (also överlevnadsvärde 2.0)
Egenintresset = so strong force
Turn on a sufficient number who actively take responsibility
